Last month my cat started guarding the bathroom drain like it was treasure
About 4 weeks ago in my apartment near downtown Tacoma, my 6 year old tabby Milo began sitting on the shower drain every single morning around 7am, just staring at it and pawing at the grate. He never did this before, even after 3 years here. I read that some cats get fixated on circular patterns or the echo of water moving under the floor, and once I ran the tap for 10 seconds he walked away calm. Has anyone else had a cat obsess over a specific spot that turned out to be some kind of sensory quirk, not a health issue?
