My zipper blew out in the Charlotte airport and I had to check my bag for the first time in 3 years
Was flying out of Charlotte last month and the main zipper on my 40L bag just split wide open right at the gate. I stood there holding the two sides together while everyone boarded around me, then ended up buying a $9 roll of duct tape at a gift shop and wrapping the whole thing like a mummy. It held all the way to Denver but TSA definitely gave me a look. Anyone found a decent way to fix a split zipper mid trip, or do I just need to stop buying cheap bags?
