Warning: cutting stair stringers with a circular saw cost me a whole Saturday
Tried to notch 14 stringers for a deck in Akron with just my Skilsaw and a speed square. Took me 9 hours and two ruined boards because the blade kept binding on the plunge cuts. Anyone got a jig setup that actually saves time, or am I just buying a dedicated stair tool?
