My salary negotiation took 3 months longer than I planned because I got ghosted.

I thought a week of back-and-forth emails would settle it, but radio silence from HR dragged it out. Has anyone else had a simple process turn into a marathon like this?

Is it really that big of a deal? Three months seems like a lot but sometimes these things just take time, it's not like they're trying to personally mess with you.

That "radio silence from HR" is the worst part. It turns a normal back and forth into this stressful waiting game where you can't plan anything. I had a similar thing happen where a promised offer letter just vanished into the void for weeks. It feels so disrespectful of your time.

Right? It makes you feel like you're just a number to them, not a person with a life on hold. That void is the worst part, makes you question if you even want the job anymore lol.
