I finally looked up what my old job title pays at other companies

I found out last week that my "coordinator" role pays $58k at a place in Denver, and I was making $41k for the same work. I only checked because a friend sent me a listing and I laughed at it, then stopped laughing. Has anyone actually used that info to get a raise, or does it just sit there making you mad?
