Ditched my daily to-do list for a 3-task limit
I used to write out 10 things each morning and feel like a failure by 2pm. Now I pick just 3 tasks that actually move my projects forward and ignore the rest until they're done. Has anyone else tried cutting your list way down?

Oh man, I feel this so hard... I used to write lists so long they'd wrap around my notebook and then I'd just stare at them feeling sorry for myself. Now I aim for 3 tasks but usually end up with like 1.5 completed and call it a win. Honestly, I think my brain just shuts down if I see more than a few things written down. It's like, who was I trying to impress with those 10 tasks anyway? Definitely no one.

Notice how those long lists were actually a way to avoid doing anything... the longer the list, the more excuses you had for not starting. Maybe we secretly wrote 10 items just so we could feel overwhelmed and talk ourselves out of trying. Kind of a backwards protection system our brains cooked up, huh.
