Appreciation post: my 1998 Coleman stove still fires up on the second click
I dug my dad's old Coleman two burner out of the garage in Boise last week because my new fancy stove died on the second trip. That thing sat for almost 12 years and lit right up after a few pumps, though the fuel cap gasket finally gave out. Do folks still rebuild these old tanks, or is it time to just buy a new stove?

Man that fuel cap gasket is such a bummer, mine did the same thing after sitting in my parents shed for a decade. Good news is you can still get rebuild kits for those old tanks, the gasket and pump cup are usually like ten bucks online and take five minutes to swap. I did mine last fall and it's been running like new since. Those old Colemans are worth fixing, they outlast anything you buy now lol.
