Velcro rolls vs zip ties, my desk rebuild sold me
Last weekend I redid my whole computer desk setup in Portland. Had about 14 cables running behind it. Used to buy those little packs of zip ties, 50 for $8. They work but every time I swap a monitor or add a gadget, I'm cutting ties and starting over. So I grabbed a 10 foot roll of velcro for $12 instead. Cut my own strips as needed, easy to undo and redo. Took about 2 hours to route everything clean. Way easier when I swapped my USB hub out yesterday. Anyone else made the jump from one time ties to reusable wrap? Worth the extra cost or do you stick with zip?

10 feet for $12 works out cheaper than those zip tie packs once you factor in redoing it 4 or 5 times. The real kicker is heat though, my old zip ties got brittle and snapped after a couple summers near a vent, velcro just doesn't do that.
