Unpopular opinion: those $6 velcro ties from the hardware store beat every fancy cable sleeve I have tried
Two years back I dropped about $40 on a neoprene sleeve and some zip-up braided wraps for the back of my TV stand, and within a month the sleeves were sagging and the wraps were a pain every time I swapped a device. Then my neighbor who does AV work in Phoenix handed me a bag of cheap velcro ties and told me to group cables by where they plug in, not by type, and the whole back of the stand went from a rat's nest to something I could actually trace in maybe 20 minutes. Anyone else ditch the pricey stuff once they tried the plain hook and loop route, or am I missing out on something better for tight spots?
