Serious question, did you hear about the new fiber optic splicing tool from Klein?

I read a review online that said it cut prep time by half on a big apartment job in Phoenix. Makes me wonder if the old way is costing us more time than we think. What's your go-to tool for fiber splices these days?

My go-to tool is whatever the shop had in stock that week, honestly. Still using the old hand stripper like a caveman over here.

There's a real case for sticking with basic hand tools. Modern gadgets fail when batteries die or circuits fry, but a simple stripper just works every single time. Speed isn't everything if you're doing careful work where feel matters more. Sometimes the old way is just the right way for the job.
