Just hit 1000 feet of coax run without a single kink

Was doing a big job for a new apartment building in Springfield, had to wire 20 units from the main box. Kept it all smooth by using my Klein fish tape and a new trick with some cable lube I got from a guy at the supply house. It saved me a ton of time and I didn't have to re-run a single line. Felt pretty good to finish that clean, especially on a Friday. Anyone have a go-to method for keeping long runs straight in tight spaces?

That Klein fish tape is a lifesaver on long pulls. I did a 750 foot run in an old office building last month and the cable lube made all the difference. My trick is to use a second person just to feed the cable into the conduit with no slack. A clean pull like that on a Friday is the best feeling.

Wait, hold on. That's a crazy long run, nice work. But I gotta say, feeding with no slack is actually asking for trouble (it can put a ton of stress on the cable). You always want a little bit of a service loop going in, it helps the cable bend naturally into the conduit. A tight feed can cause more friction and even damage the sheath.
