Vent: screwed up a drawer front in Grand Rapids and had to call the client

Was boring the pull holes on a set of maple fronts at the shop in Grand Rapids and my bit walked about 3/16 off center on the first one. Called the client instead of trying to patch it, and they actually said they'd rather wait two days for a redo than have a plug show. How do you all handle the call when you'd rather just hide the mistake?
