My shop can't agree on sourcing. Local grass-fed beef is pricier but supports small farms, while conventional is cheaper for customers. Which side are you on?

Oh man, the local grass-fed beef thing is such a hard call. I mean we tried to stock it at my place and the price just scared people off, even the folks who said they wanted it. There's this burger place down the street using it and they charge like six bucks more per plate, idk how they do it. It's just rough because you want to do the right thing but then you watch people pick the cheapest option every time.

So how does that burger place justify the price?

Is this sourcing thing really that big of a deal? People usually pick what's cheaper, even if they say they care about farms. It might not be worth stressing over since money talks for most customers.
