My tracker fell apart mid-January and the blank spread saved me

I was at my desk in Austin on the 14th, staring at a mood log I'd built with 31 tiny boxes, and one coffee spill turned the whole left column into mush, so I just drew one big square for the month and wrote random words in it. Does anyone else ditch the fancy layouts when life gets messy, or do you rebuild the same setup from scratch?
