Took me 8 months to realize I was overpaying for my phone plan by $30 a month
I kept putting off checking my bill because I figured it was fine, but after a slow night shift I finally dug into the details and saw I was paying for unlimited data I never use. Has anyone else found a hidden fee or overcharge that took way too long to spot?

It's like my subscription to "Premium Lawn Care Tips" I never signed up for... somehow got charged for 6 months before I noticed. Now I do this thing where I set a calendar reminder every few months to just scroll through all my bank statements with a coffee in hand, looking for anything fishy. Still haven't caught everything though. I just found a $3.99 "membership fee" from some app I downloaded once and forgot about. That one stung because it's been running for like a year.
