Found out my local library has a tool lending program and it saved me $200 in one month
I was about to buy a pressure washer for $150 to clean my deck and driveway. My neighbor said check the library first. I laughed but called them. Turns out the library near me in Portland has over 50 tools you can borrow for free. Pressure washer, hedge trimmer, even a tile saw. I borrowed the pressure washer, a post hole digger, and a hedge trimmer over the last month. Would have cost me around $200 to buy those. Has anyone else used their library's tool program? What weird stuff have you found there?

You said you saved $200 but those tools cost way less than that to buy. A basic pressure washer is like $80 at Harbor Freight, hedge trimmer $40, post hole digger $30. That adds up to about $150 even if you bought new. Still a sweet deal borrowing them though.

Fair point, but you're forgetting the hassle of owning and storing them lol.
