Found $87 in old jeans and turned it into a grocery win

Last Tuesday I was sorting laundry before a job over in Lynn, and my favorite pair of work jeans had a wad of cash in the back pocket. $87 from a side gig I'd totally forgotten about. Used it to cover a full week of groceries at Market Basket, which freed up my usual food budget to finally knock out that overdue car insurance payment. Has anyone else had a random found-money moment that actually shifted their monthly numbers?

Funny how that works, right? Sometimes the universe just drops a little cushion right when the month is squeezing you. Makes me wonder how many other small wins we walk past every day without even noticing.
