Used to swear by hostels in Europe. A pension in Prague changed my mind completely.

I always thought hostels were the only way to save money on a solo trip. Last October I tried a small family-run pension in Prague for about the same price, like 25 euros a night. Got a private room with breakfast included and actual quiet to sleep. The math just works better for me now if you look at the total value. Anyone else find a cheaper alternative that beat the usual budget move?
