Riding the $2 bus in Medellin instead of the $25 taxi taught me something about airport transfers
Took the local bus from the Medellin airport last month for 8,000 pesos and it dropped me two blocks from my hostel while everyone else paid 100,000 for a cab, so now I want to know what other cities have cheap public buses that actually run to the airport.

Did you have a lot of bags though? I've done the cheap bus thing before and it's great until you're dragging a suitcase through traffic for 20 minutes. Sometimes the extra money is worth not showing up to your hostel sweaty and annoyed.
