I got my hostel dorm in Lisbon from $38 a night down to $19 just by moving to a Tuesday
Last month I was poking around for a bed in Lisbon and the same 6 bed dorm at Home Lisbon Hostel was $38 for Friday, then $19 when I clicked over to Tuesday. I ran into a guy there who said he plans his whole Portugal trip around mid week arrivals for that exact reason. Nobody at the front desk would confirm it but the price kept flipping depending on the day. Does anyone else pick their travel days purely off hostel prices like this?
