Hot take: booking flights on a Tuesday at 3am is a total myth
I tested this for a round trip to Chicago last month and the price was the exact same at 3am Tuesday as it was at 2pm Wednesday, so what's the actual trick here cause that old advice feels like a scam.

Both times I tried this method it completely flopped, and honestly I think the 3am excitement is just your brain being half asleep and confused. The results the next morning were basically the same as my normal morning routine, so what's the point @emma_hart. I set the alarm once, hit snooze three times, and gave up. It's just not worth losing sleep over something that feels more like a gimmick than a real hack.
