Am I the only one who sees people overpaying for airport food like it's a flex?
I was at the gate in Nashville last week and watched a guy drop $18 on a sad sandwich and a bottled water. Like dude, you could have walked five minutes to a grocery store near the airport and grabbed a wrap and a drink for under $6. I know because I did it myself before my flight. Airport prices are wild because they know you're stuck, but most terminals have a spot within a mile that's way cheaper if you just check Google Maps before you go through security. My buddy laughed at me for packing a bag of trail mix and a banana, but meanwhile he was crying over a $9 coffee. Has anyone else found a solid spot near an airport that saves them money every time?

Time matters more than saving $12 when you're already running late.
