Unpopular opinion: I was wasting SO much money on fresh herbs for years
Switched to growing a $3 basil plant on my windowsill and dried everything else. My grocery bill dropped by about $15 a month instantly. Anyone else have a simple swap that saved way more than you expected?

Totally, a few potted herbs make a huge difference. I started drying my own mint for tea and it's crazy how much it adds up.

My rosemary plant on the back porch gave me enough for all my holiday cooking last year. I just snip a few sprigs whenever I need it. The flavor is so much stronger than the little jars at the store. It feels good to walk outside and pick something fresh. I'm trying thyme next because it seems just as easy to grow.
