Stick blender saved me $60 on soup bases

Bought a $15 stick blender at Walmart last month. Now I make creamy tomato soup from canned whole tomatoes instead of buying the $4 cartons. Pays for itself quick.

My immersion blender was like 15 bucks at Target and it changed everything. I used to burn my tongue trying to blend hot soup in a regular blender. Now I just stick it right in the pot and it's done in 30 seconds. Best kitchen tool I never knew I needed.
