Rant: My neighbor swore by frozen veg for cheap stir fry, but fresh from the farmers market beat it every time
She said the 99 cent frozen bags would stretch my $20 grocery run, but after comparing 3 meals last Tuesday, the $2.50 fresh broccoli and snap peas from the downtown stall browned way better and I didn't have that soggy mess, anyone else ditch frozen for seasonal produce even when money's tight?
