Got chewed out by a cashier at Aldi for trying to use a reusable bag on a scale

She told me it was throwing off the price of my cabbage by 2 cents and I still think about that look she gave me three months later, has anyone else had a grocery worker get that intense about the system?

Yeah that two cent thing gets me too. I had a cashier at a different store tell me I was breaking the scale by putting my bag on it. She said the sensor could only handle up to a certain weight and my bag was too heavy even empty. What I do now is set my bag right next to the scale instead of on it, then I put each item on the scale by itself. That way nobody gets mad and the price is right. If a cashier ever gives you a hard time about it again, just say you're sorry and you'll do it their way from now on. Keeps things easy.
