Am I the only one who blew $70 on a bread maker thinking it would cut my grocery bill?

Used it twice back in 2019, the loaf came out like a brick and I went right back to the $1.50 store brand, so if anyone has a machine that truly beats cheap sliced bread I would love to hear it.
