Vent: I read 100 broker reviews and 61 of them were written on the same Tuesday
I started keeping track of dates on reviews last month, just for fun, and 61 out of 100 for three different brokers all landed on the same Tuesday in March. Call me crazy, but real clients don't all decide to post on the exact same day. Every one of those reviews was 5 stars and had that same upbeat tone, like someone copied the same happy script. You can usually spot the fakes by the dates alone, so do you check timestamps when you read reviews, or am I the only one who does this?
Checked the dates on my last batch too, and it gets worse when you look at the times. I sorted a few pages of reviews by when they were posted and eleven of them went up within a four minute window. Real people do not leave reviews in a four minute window unless someone handed out a link and a bonus. The other tell is the day of the week itself, because a normal spread of reviews will pile up on Sunday nights and Monday mornings when people are bored or mad, not on a random Tuesday afternoon. So no, you are not the only one who does this, and I would say the dates are the easiest fake to catch out of everything.
