Tried to verify a broker's license and it took 4 days
I was vetting a guy for a property deal in Cleveland and went to check his license on the state website. The search page kept timing out and I figured it was just me. Called the office and they said their system was down for maintenance but it would be back up tomorrow. Tomorrow turned into 4 days of calling back and forth before someone finally emailed me a PDF. Has anyone else had a state database take forever like that?

That 4 day wait sounds painfully familiar, I used to trust those state databases but not anymore.

@bettym89 ain't it sad how we all learned the hard way that those systems are junk?
