Spotted a weird fee on my statement from a broker in Phoenix

I was checking my account with a broker I've used for a few months and saw a new $29.50 'account review' charge from last week. I called their support line and the guy said it was a standard quarterly fee, but it's the first time I've seen it. Has anyone else had a random fee pop up with their broker and how did you get it removed?
