Showerthought: everyone says to avoid brokers with high fees, but my research found the one with the lowest fees in my state also had the most complaints.
I looked at the state regulator's site and saw 22 complaints filed against them just this year, which is wild for a company that pushes their low cost so hard.

Whoa, 22 complaints in a single year? That's not just a red flag, that's a whole parade. It really shows that rock bottom fees can sometimes mean they're cutting corners on service too. Makes you wonder what all those people were complaining about.

Yeah, that tracks. You get what you pay for, and sometimes you pay in headaches instead of cash.

There's some truth to that "get what you pay for" line, but I'd push back a little. Low fees don't automatically mean bad service, sometimes they just mean the company is lean and efficient. A few legit complaints can get blown way out of proportion online, especially when people are more likely to vent than praise.
