Question about a $500 bonus from TradeZero

I opened an account with TradeZero for their $500 new client bonus. They said it was cash, but after I funded it, they told me it was only for trading fees. Felt like a bait and switch. Has anyone else had this happen with a broker bonus offer?

Honestly that's pretty shady. Tbh you gotta check the fine print on those offers, they're never just free cash. What did the original promo page actually say word for word? Sometimes they bury the "for fees only" part in the terms. Ngl I'd be mad too if I put my own money in expecting a real bonus.

But have you actually read the fine print yourself, @chen.jade? Sometimes it's pretty clear. Like those "deposit $100, get $100 in bonus bets" deals. The bonus cash is right there, it just has wagering rules. If someone just throws money at any ad without reading how it works, that's on them. The promo page usually spells it out if you scroll past the big shiny button.
