I figured that broker review site with 200+ five star ratings was fake, then a guy named Sal in Queens proved me wrong
Six months ago I almost opened an account with a broker that had nothing but glowing reviews on their own page, and my gut said something was off so I held back. Then I found an older review thread where people talked about slippage during news events and how long withdrawals actually took, and that honesty is what got me to try them. What really sold me was calling the guy Sal from Queens who ran the review site, he picked up on a Tuesday night and walked me through his own account statement from 2021. I still check that site before I trust any new broker, and so far it has been solid. Has anyone else had a review site actually save them from a bad account?
