Fighting a broker over a $47 wire fee for 3 weeks was my worst support experience yet
Last month I tried to pull my money out of an account I had with a broker for 2 years and they hit me with a $47 outgoing wire fee that was never in the paperwork I signed. I called support on a Monday and got told the fee was standard, so I asked for the fee schedule from my signup date and they went quiet for 6 days. It took 3 more calls, a formal complaint, and a screenshot of my original agreement before they refunded it 21 days later. Some people say just eat the fee and move on, others say always fight it so they stop doing this to people. Which side are you on and did you ever get a surprise fee reversed?
