Mixed mortar with a splash of cherry Gatorade on accident, and the color held better than the tap water batch
Grabbed the wrong jug on a hot day in Fresno and dumped about half a bottle in before I caught the smell. Ended up knocking down and redoing that corner anyway, but now I keep the drinks on the truck and the water on the wall, so what do you all do to keep the jugs from getting mixed up on a hot job?

Man, the "caught the smell" part got me because I can picture that exact moment on a hot day when your brain just goes nope. Fresno heat makes everything worse, so grabbing the wrong jug there is almost a rite of passage. At least you only lost a corner and not the whole pour. Keeping drinks on the truck and water on the wall is about the simplest fix there is, no labels or fancy system needed. The half bottle before you caught it is what gets me, that stuff must have foamed up something awful.
