I was reading an old trade journal and the number of bricks in the Empire State Building blew my mind

It's over 10 million bricks, which is wild to think about. I found it in a 1950s issue of 'Masonry Monthly' at a yard sale. Anyone else come across a fact about a famous build that just stuck with you?

Found a similar fact about the Brooklyn Bridge. The guide wires for the cables are over 14,000 miles long if you laid them end to end. Read it on a plaque during a tour and it just stuck.
