Was a soil snob for years, compost tea finally changed my mind
Last month I refused to use compost tea on my indoor ficus because I figured plain fertilizer was all a plant ever needed, but after a friend in Portland left a batch brewing and I accidentally used it, the leaf drop stopped within a week. My aloe and snake plant also greened up noticeably, which made me rethink all the money I spent on fancy liquid nutrients from the garden center. Has anyone else had results that surprised them after skipping the store-bought stuff for a homemade brew?
