TIL my little windowsill fern collection hit 20 plants and I didn't even notice
I started with one sad little Boston fern from a grocery store in 2019 and just kept dividing it whenever it got too big for its pot. Last weekend I was moving stuff around to water everyone and counted 20 pots spread across two windowsills and a bookshelf. Back when I started I couldn't keep a pothos alive for more than a month, so seeing 20 happy ferns feels kind of wild. My wife jokes that our place looks like a tiny jungle now, but I swear each one came from that same first plant. Anyone else end up with way more plants than they planned just from splitting the ones they already had?
