Saw a massive philodendron at the Atlanta Botanical Garden that just looked wrong

It was in the tropical house, but the leaves were all faded and stretched out like it wasn't getting enough light. Has anyone else noticed the lighting in those displays messing with plant growth?

Those giant philodendron leaves looked more like sad, stretched-out noodles than actual plants. I swear the lighting setup in there is designed to mimic a dark basement more than a tropical rainforest. Maybe they're trying to save on the electric bill by using a single 40-watt bulb for the whole room. Honestly, my desk lamp does a better job keeping my pothos alive than whatever they've got going on in that display.
