I was watering my spider plant every single day for a year.
It kept getting brown tips and looked awful. My friend Lisa came over last week, poked the soil, and just said 'you're drowning it.' I cut back to watering once a week and it's already perking up. Anyone else kill a plant with too much kindness?

Wait you watered it every single day for a full year? That's wild. I can't believe it even survived that long. My spider plant would have been a goner in a month with that schedule. It's crazy how the obvious fix is just to leave it alone.
