Showerthought: I read the last 40 pages of Never Let Me Go on my lunch break and had to pretend I was fine in a meeting 10 minutes later
I knew it was sad going in but I figured I had seen the movie so I was ready for it. Nope, the part where Kathy just watches the car from the field wrecked me way harder on the page than it ever did on screen. How do you all handle finishing a gut punch book right before you have to act normal around other humans?

Keep a dumb funny video queued up on your phone. Sounds silly but switching to something mindless for like 2 mins resets your face before you walk in.
