The bookbinder's place on Main Street is gone now
I miss seeing the old press in the window when I walked by. His craft kept so many local histories alive in bound form.

Smart move taking those photos, @seth_nelson. Did you remember to get a tape measure in some of the shots for scale? That's a step so many people forget until later when they're trying to remember the exact size of something. Having those real world measurements right in the picture saves a huge headache down the road. It turns a nice memory into a truly useful reference you can actually use.

That tape measure trick @the_ben mentioned is a lifesaver. My uncle built a deck and took a million photos, but none showed how far the posts were from the house. He spent a whole weekend re-measuring everything from scratch.
