I thought used book sales were junk piles until the $2 bin in Sacramento had a signed copy inside
Went to the library sale on Freeport Blvd two Saturdays ago just to kill an hour. I almost skipped it because the last three sales I hit were all water damaged paperbacks and old tax guides. The $2 table had a hardcover with a cracked spine and the author's signature right on the title page. Checked it against the photos online when I got home and it matches. Now I dig through every bin before I judge a sale. What's the best thing you almost walked past at a library sale?
