I thought those $1 library sale carts were a waste of time until I found a signed first edition in Denver
I always walked past the cart at the Denver Public Library on Broadway thinking it was just beat up paperbacks and old magazines. Then a buddy dared me to spend $5 on whatever I could grab. I pulled a clean first edition of a Richard Ford novel and it turned out to be signed. The librarian said they get donations from estate sales and don't always check inside. Now I hit every cart in a 20 mile radius. What's the best thing you ever pulled off a library sale cart?
