My sci-fi pick got crushed 7 to 1 at our January meetup, then everything flipped by March
Two months ago I was the only person defending Anderson's book while everyone pushed the same detective novel, and by our March meetup the group split 5 to 3 the other way after our host picked it for the theme month. What actually changed people's minds was pairing it with the author's own short story collection, so has anyone else seen a pick win a second round just by adding a companion read?
