Book club switched from assigned page counts to chapter stops, my reading pace doubled
We used to read 60 pages a week in our Portland group and meetings always turned into who finished on time, but after three months of voting on natural chapter breaks instead, people actually show up ready to argue about character choices, has anyone else tried letting the book dictate the schedule?
