Watched my buddy get so mad during a trivia night he almost flipped the table. He was treating it like a life or death thing, you know? Then he just stopped, laughed at himself, and ordered another round for our whole team. The whole mood changed when he stopped trying to crush everyone and just enjoyed the dumb questions. Honestly it was a way better night after that, just hanging out.

That "whole mood changed" thing is so real. I see it all the time with my friends when we play pickup basketball. The second someone stops calling every single foul and just plays, the game gets fun again and nobody ends the night pissed off.
