Dropped $40 on a used lens, the shake reduction is a miracle worker
My old 50mm was so blurry I thought my hands were the problem, but this older stabilized lens from a pawn shop in Cleveland made my handheld night shots crisp in one weekend, has anyone else had a used lens save them that much?

That line about thinking your hands were the problem really hits home. I spent years blaming myself for blurry shots when half the time it was just a lens that could not keep up with me. What surprises me is how cheap the fix can be. People drop hundreds on new glass when a beat up stabilized lens off a pawn shop shelf does the job fine. The tech from ten or fifteen years ago still works, it just got old and nobody wants it anymore. So the folks chasing the newest thing leave all these great deals sitting there for the rest of us.
