Warning: my adoption agency in Reno gave me outdated contact info for my son's birth father

Last week I finally tried to reach out to my son's birth father after 3 years of silence, and the agency in Reno handed me a phone number that's been disconnected since 2021. They never updated their files, and now I'm stuck without a way to tell him our son is asking about medical history. I called their office twice, and the second time the caseworker admitted they lost track of his new address after he moved to Phoenix. Has anyone else gotten stale information from their agency, and how did you track down the right person?
