Just realized the bench at the park near my old agency in Lansing says 'for the ones who chose'

I was back in Lansing last weekend for a cousin's baby shower and walked through the little park where I used to eat lunch alone after my placement. There's a bench by the pond with a small brass plaque that reads "for the ones who chose," and I stood there for probably ten minutes. I don't know who put it there or if they were a birth mom too, but it felt like someone out there gets it. Does anyone know of memorials or small markers like this for birth moms in their area? I'd love to hear about them.
